August 6-September 2, 2010, Art at Night Light Lounge with Brin Levinson.  I have a smattering of mostly new work there and it is a charmed place to go for a drink and some good eats. I recommend the BLT special on Mondays:)

July 2-August 4, 2010, ‘Illumination’ Exhibit at the Center Gallery, Multnomah Arts Center, 7688 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland, OR 97219. Opening reception Friday, July 2, 7-9pm.  I am now working on a handful of new pieces to have as many fresh paintings as possible for this solo show.  A few old favorites will be in the mix as well.

March 25th, Bernadette Breu Experience, 1338 SE 6th Ave. Portland, OR.  From 6-9pm I will be a part of a Spring Sale Event with a handful of other artisans. I will be selling my handmade gift cards…whimsical collage creations using old stamps, feathers, contact paper, magazine clippings, tissue paper, etc etc.  There will be appetizers served.

March, Caffe Pallino, 3003 SE Division, Portland OR 97202.  Aside from a couple of new pieces, the bulk of the work will be remaining pieces from my East Bank Loft days.  These older pieces will all be on sale.  I am dramatically reducing the prices on them to not only find them homes, but to create more space for all the new work I am creating for the Multnomah Arts Center show in July.  Caffe Pallino has delicious Caffe Umbria coffee, gelato, food, and wine…Yum. 

February 12-March 12, 2010, The LOVE Show at the Olympic Mills Commerce Center, 107 SE Washington, Portland OR, 97214.  I will have one piece in this show, which I am in the process of creating.  It is titled Love Substitutes…come check it out!  Opening night will be Friday, February 12th from 7pm-12am.  I will be there. There will also be a closing night party, March 12th from 8pm-12am. I do not know if I will be there.  I have been wanting to participate in the Love Show for the last four years and this year I am finally making it happen. Uh-huh.

THE BIG 100 at the Olympic Mills Commerce Center, 107 SE Washington, PDX. Opening Reception Friday December 11, 6-11pm. ONE NIGHT ONLY. 100 artists are now busily creating 20 8×8 pieces on panel which will be on sale for $30 each.  One third of the proceeds for each piece goes to Portland City Art, the Food Bank and KBOO.  This is going to be a fun night.  Come buy art for Christmas gifts (or hannukaH…don’t want to leave anyone out)!!!! ORIGINALS for practically nothing!!! I also have a little piece up for silent auction, all proceeds going to Portland City Art.  It is Burnside Bridge Construction, 4×6, oil on panel, 2007. Saturday, November 7, 2009. Suzanne Elizabeth’s Paintings and Cards,  graciously hosted by Darlene Carlson in her home. This is a one day event, from 3pm-8pm.  Wine and appetizers provided.  Her home is in the heart of the Clinton neighborhood near New Seasons and plenty of other restaurants and stores.  Stop by to browse before heading out to dinner for the evening!!  2722 SE 21st Ave. PDX 97202.  (Next door to Oddball Tattoo and the Night Light on 21st and Clinton)

August 14-23, The Manor of Art, http://portlandcityart.org/2009/06/26/the-manor-of-art/.  My paintings will be on display in one of 100 rooms in this huge art show.  Click on the link for all the details!  I was a last minute add to this show, so I do not even know what my room will look like yet…as of now I have two weeks to install my vision.  I reallllly hope you people can come out to this one because it is going to be a great event.

June 25th (2009) Alberta Last Thursday.  Find me at 5024 NE 30th Ave (the MANsion) a few steps off Alberta with a handful of other artists who are part of the Evergreen Art Show.  (as for Olympic Mills….)
