A couple new commissions, a desert painting, and a few random notes...

Here are three of the latest paintings I completed after my trip to Italy. I was in Cerrillos, outside Santa Fe, for a month taking time to rest and paint after my trip to Italy.  I got to stay in a beautiful log cabin in the desert where the sun shone almost every day.  I took long walks and stared at the desert landscape everyday.  It was so so beautiful.  The land...all the prickly bushes and dirt surrounding the house...seemed to hold me and take me in while I was there.
